Merry Christmas!

I've been slaving like an elf around here. It's been fun, though. I'll be able to post photos of everything once my people receive their gifts. The gift I am most excited about giving this year is going to my husband. I am very pleased with how it turned out, and I hope I get the chance to make many more of them.

I have to say that I'm experiencing renewed excitement about working with leather. I'm working on designs that incorporate the leather with some of the new materials I've been trying out.

I also made my Christmas cards this year. As usual, I have yet to send them.

I made them with the copier I inherited, quarter folded copy paper, and a rubber Chinese stamp. If you don't receive a paper copy, please don't fret...I probably didn't have your address. (Several of you will be receiving last year's card along with this year's card. It's the thought that counts right?)

One more thing---I'm going to begin work on my annual Easter 'Zine after the first of the year. Please be thinking about how you could contribute: an article with your thoughts about the holiday, poetry, art, etc. I would love to have your contributions! More details will be posted here after the first of the year.

Enjoy the season! -Melanie

The card is great. I love the family picture. It's going on my fridge. Shame about the laser background though... ;)
