Peace (Shhhh....)

Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.

This big 4'X 5' painting is not anywhere near done. First you see the sketch, then all of the under painting, a fair hint of what's to come. I think I'll end up breaking one of my rules to get this one done. So far I've always managed to paint on one canvas with only one size brush; I've never cared for piece-y looking paintings. This one just has too much detail.

Anyhow, I'm posting it even though I'm concerned to put something less than half done out there...something I don't even know when I'll be able to finish. In that way it's sort of like my life...and that's what I'm learning about this week, so it's only fitting I put my painting where my heart is.
