Come out for the guys' gig this Saturday, November 8th, 10pm at Club Liquid.
Before the guys play the downtown scene, Cody will be leading music (and several of the guys will be playing) at the Wheatland Mission at 5:30pm. After that service the guys will likely go set up for the show and then we'll head out on the town for some dinner before the gig. Come along for part or all!
Wheatland Mission is the church Cody and I, along with many of our family and friends attend. Though our regular pastor won't be preaching that night, there is a self-professed (and Cody says the guy, a former LA gang chaplain and current beat chaplain, has some real street cred) "peacemaker" who will be addressing the subject of conflict. Maybe we will all walk away with even one truth that will help us handle life's inevitable conflict. Couldn't we all use a little more peace?
