| Scholastics rented a billboard in Times Square | and they also turned the Empire State building Gold to honor these kids! |
It was a wonderful ceremony---we were moved to tears a couple of times. So glad we could take her to receive the award in person. Here's a little perspective of the rarity/honor of her award---out of 340,000 pieces of art and writing submitted nationally, they chose 300 for awards. She works so hard. It was awesome to see her honored for it. Sweet girl. One more year until she goes to college.
