My Friends' Mantel

This would be a difficult wall to decorate. Didn't they do a great job?

See how these two paintings go together? The second is a more completed version of The Third Day. I can't wait to see them hanging together.

Edit: Holy crap! I just realize I painted the first one before I even had my "safe place". It's some kind of foretelling of evolution/change.

Another reminder to trust the process.

I think I'll call the new painting: After Three. "After" means it is in the manner of three. "After" also indicates the evolution/change.

I darkened the edges of the canvas a bit more. Will take another photo once the green is dry.
