She finally found her perch.

She flew into my dreams last night and sat right between me and my painting. Though you can't tell it yet, She's definitely on the "free" side of that opening. I'm excited about the additional depth She brings to the painting (literally and figuratively).

She was always the missing element I just couldn't get my brush on.

Sometimes it's hard for me to wait and trust that something like this will come together. 9 months ago: Without the Bird and The Gold Leaf but still no bird. My Aunt Korrene paid me to paint this (though neither of us knew what it would be) almost one year ago. Because of her patience and willingness to commission it and then let me have free range---and change it and then leave it alone and then come back to it---I can't even begin to describe how parallel the evolution of this painting continues to run with my own formation.

Cool! If memory serves me, we began talking about this during the evolution of your 2010 LentZine. Every time I see a picture of Phos Hileron, it is changed. Every time I talk with you, I experience the changes you are going through. Once again, art broadcasts the artist's process.
Again, cool!
