More Serenity
This is approximately .980 silver---I can't say the purity because it's from a hand rolled ingot made of scraps of .999 and .925. I think the patina did something funky and cool so I left it unpolished. I am left to wonder if the patina is due to the metal or something else...
...like by accident. Literally. Earlier I spilt my cooling water on my bench, so when I needed to cool the hot metal I stuck it in what I was drinking. (Don't worry, I didn't drink from the cup after this.) Anyhow, whatever I was drinking coupled with my flux/pickle/solder/pumice and then more fire did some funky stuff. I hope I can replicate this finish again.

oh, that's some nice texture/coloration on the back.
hannah! thanks for noticing! that's why i took the photo. almost like the back as much as the front. :) this is why we are friends. the textures and shape of this piece of jewelry bring a lot of depth to it.
(well, of course it's not the only reason we are friends. ...we just have a similar aesthetic lens and it's a rare thing to share. love you!)
