Paul Cezanne was born 172 years ago. He painted himself A LOT over his lifetime. (Apparently I am not the only one who thinks it is infinitely more interesting to paint a man with facial hair.) The first one is my favorite.
Earlier today I added orange to the blue portrait of Cody. My plan is to keep all of the paint colors pure and just add layer upon layer of color. We'll see how it turns out!

Just wanted to tell you I love this..its full of angst and the use of these two colors serves that emotion well.
