Red Coat, watercolor and acrylic

Last week Cody bought Chloe this gorgeous red, double breasted, brass button wool coat. She showed it to him on the hanger and their conversation went something like this:

"Do you like it, Dad?"

"Do you like it Chloe?"

[7th grade nod]

"If you've got the stones to wear it, I want to buy it for you. You've got to wear the coat. Can you do that?"

[another, more confident nod]

They bought the jacket.
