Mokume Gane Pt II

The baggie that held the patina solution and the ring was so potent that when I stuck my hand in to retrieve the ring it hurt my silver cuts*. Here's the ring fresh out of the bag.

This is the ring after being scrubbed with a brillo pad. It took off more of the black then I wanted to, so it's back in the baggie now.

*silver cuts are similar to paper cuts. ouch!

Mel - These are magnificent! Your work and talent is growing by leaps and bounds everyday. If you buy more of this material let me know. I would love to commission rings for my hubby and myself. We got remarried and no longer have matching bands. I would love to have something like this for us to share. Having it handmade by you would make it that much more special. Let me know! You know how to find me. --- Regina
