Bronze isn't supposed to crumble in your hands. It's not supposed to look like that.
That's a costly error, friends. That's a whole lot of time spent kneading, rolling, shaping, sanding, filing, and an overnight stay in a hot kiln. Now I know that no matter how thin I think the Bronzclay is, I should set and fire it for the thickest setting. I stress tested each piece and only a few pieces held up like Bronze should. I am super pleased with what did turn out, so I'm not too discouraged.
I am thankful for all of the sales I've had---they are what fund my new creations, my ability to learn. Some of what you pay for when you buy handmade is everything that has gone before it, all the tools, the time and instruction that rolls into making each piece. Every project allows me to learn more, to discover more. Failures and successes included.

that's a beautiful thought Melanie~ gratitude is one of the cornerstones of creativity..I need to keep that in mind more often.
