This is a lamp I assembled from all kinds of different objects. It stands about 12" tall. I am wondering if I should submit it to the silent auction or if I should try to paint something yet. Do you think it's too weird to do well for HOH? What is your opinion? Thanks.
The glass on front used to be an antique Lea and Perrin's bottle. I smashed it, melted it down in the kiln, scored and broke it, then strung it on the metal framework of a rusty hanging bulb housing. I stuck the bulb housing on the base of a new lamp I picked up at the thrift shop a year or so ago. Topped it of with some of the brass and metal pieces I've kept from various fixtures over the years. To me, it looks like the pieces always belonged together!

That is the coolest trouble light I have ever seen, Pearl. If it goes up for auction I may have to bid on it. Seriously. All the other mechanics will be jealous.
Girl! That is fantastic!
That is one cool light. Thanks for having lunch with me today. It was great to catch up.
I would buy this...but then again I am your groupie, so no help from me. Sorry.
