L Mansker, Garden of Eden

The stunning Garden of Eden painting is perfectly at home hung on the wall of the Mudd St. Cafe in Eureka Springs. Mansker is still from ES---and the waitress told us it was a canvas he just kept coming back to over the years until it ended up on the wall there. She said he would walk on it and live with it in his studio. How on earth, does any painting move from such an intimate place, to such an "other" place---who (or what) decides? Private home, Cafe or museum?
