Gifts from friends for friends

I made this double sided pendant for my friend Kelly. At least two years ago she gave me an old cardboard jewelry box full of "junk" jewelry from her then recently deceased grandmother. Because of school I didn't have much time to look at the contents closely until a couple months ago.

While combing through it I found this bracelet marked .925 Mex and knew I'd be giving it back to her.

It's definitely not my friend's style. I suggested making individual pendants out of the individual sections for her and her cousins. She wasn't too wowed by any of it and she just left it with me. So this morning I took the liberty of cutting it up, stamping on it and making the pendant for her. It's now much better, much more like my friend---and I love that it is also still from her grandmother.

This copper bracelet is for Michele for her birthday. It's the first of its kind. It's super chunky.

Love seeing all of these new creations of yours! I think Michele will like her bracelet for sure. What are you going to do with those blue stones?
