400

I started this blog in 2005. This post is the 400th post to have survived. I like the direction my blog has taken because I like the direction my life has taken. I don't want to bastardize my blog---or you---by using the 400th post to have some sort of self-promoting blog contest. I just want to acknowledge the survival and the beauty of this time and place.

The stream is stronger than the wave.

I am so close to my blog (like a brush stroke or a manipulated piece of metal) it feels like a natural, direct extension of me. At times, stepping back from it can be a difficult (so much of myself "out there"), bewildering thing. I will keep posting because there is always something in it for me. At times there might be something in it for you...and I love that at least as much as I love what is in it for me. Please continue sharing with me when this occurs.
