hidden
although exposed
the curious human
whose mind sharpens
the body
betrays
clouds roll
drawing with them
a great curtain
whose heavy presence
is weightless
gray
marked
bearing down
on
the colorful shell
whose drained pigment
is swept
away
eyes darken
slowly barring
the brittle soul
whose open windows
fail
today
exposed
although hidden
the curious human
whose body stiffens
the mind
