Some of the gold leaf is now in place. I added a few pictures. Smeared some oil paint around, took off the copper tags. I'm still trying to decide what to do with names and dates. I didn't like the copper tags after I got them on. Something about the scale and the material wasn't right. Hmm....Oh, one major difference is the horizontal line under my great great grandparents. It signifies agriculture and the fact that they lived in two cultures. I'll probably sand it down so that some of the canvas comes through and it's not so stark. I like it that the rest of the genogram is looking more organic because of that line; like roots and tunnels.
